The torch beckons, calls into the pitch darkness
Alienation takes by the throat, and so is frustration again
And only the distant light whispers: "Step over the edge, cross the line!"

The lost key will open the doors to forgotten dreams

The oppressed ego sneaks, rotting day by day
And with each new step, the answer is getting closer
The torch beckons, calls into the unknown distance
The key lies under the ashes of years gone by

The key to our actions lies in our past
All the answers are hidden inside
The inglorious pages of bygone days
Are just a prologue for a bad present
The sense of reality is dulled
Like everything around is covered with a veil of thick fog
And only the torch calls forward …
The torch leads forward!

The past will not leave us alone, it will overtake even in dreams
The thread will break, the flame will flash in the eyes
The torch burns brightly, the light of the sacrificial fire
